Mountaineers in the Pros

WVU Well Represented with Numerous Mountaineers in the NFL in 2023

Rasul Douglas

After a great year for former Mountaineers in the NFL in 2022, WVU is once again going to be well represented throughout the National Football League. Geno Smith continues to be the headliner as he looks to prove his Comeback Player of the Year season wasn’t a fluke, but there are 14 total players on NFL roster who spent time in college at West Virginia. Of those 14, nine are on active rosters.
