Zeke Durham-Campbell, a Top Transfer Addition | WVU Football All 105
All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.
The biggest question mark surrounding the Mountaineers’ defense heading into 2026 is their secondary. While redshirt senior defensive lineman Zeke Durham-Campbell plays on the front end of the defense instead of the back end, the best units work together in tandem.
His 5.5 sacks and two pass breakups were part of a body of work that earned Third Team All-Sun Belt honors last season, and each time Durham-Campbell batted a pass away or put an opposing quarterback in the turf, that marked a win for the defenders behind him. Experience matters in college football, where even the 18-year-old superstars often find themselves outwitted at the hands of wily veterans. Now entering his fifth and final season of eligibility, the 6-foot-4, 254 pound Durham-Campbell will provide the Mountaineers with valuable experience as a defensive end.
WVU Football pursued him hard once he entered the transfer portal, a testament to the potential they see in him.
18• Zeke Durham-Campbell, redshirt senior defensive line
Last Year: Durham-Campbell started at Coastal Carolina in 2025, earning Third Team All-Sun Belt honors.
Stats: 42 tackles, 5.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and two pass breakups in 2025.
Post-Camp Outlook: West Virginia needs to overhaul their secondary after two straight seasons with one of the worst units in Division I. Accomplished linemen like Durham-Campbell, who can collapse the pocket and close off throwing lanes with his height, will help make the Mountaineers’ secondary’s job easier.
Projected Role: As an experienced defensive lineman in one of the Group of Five’s best conferences, expect major snaps for Durham-Campbell in 2026; the Mountaineers could cycle through their defensive linemen, keeping their pass rush fresh and ferocious, or go with dedicated starters. Either way, expect to see Durham-Campbell’s No. 18 jersey on the field frequently.
Accolades, Highlights: Durham-Campbell enjoyed a breakout campaign in his fourth season of college football, earning a selection to the All-Sun Belt Third Team according to the conference’s coaches; another outlet issued him Second Team honors.
