Big 12 Reveals WVU Basketball Home-Away Matchups

The Big 12 released its home and away matchups for the 2024-25 basketball season, including WVU. The Mountaineers will play each team once while playing five opponents for a second time, as the Big 12 moves to a 20-game league slate.

Home AND Away: BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, TCU, Utah

Home ONLY: Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, UCF

Away ONLY: Baylor, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Texas Tech

There are a lot of changes in Big 12 basketball for the 2024-25 season. The conference officially adds Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah this summer while losing Oklahoma and Texas to the SEC. The Big 12 will also move to a 20-game conference schedule, making the already grueling slate even harder.

WVU is entering its first season under head coach Darian DeVries from Drake. DeVries and his new staff completely flipped the roster as they only return rising sophomoreย Ofri Naveh. West Virginiaย brings top transfersย Tucker DeVriesย (F โ€“ Drake) andย Javon Smallย (G โ€“ Oklahoma State) to lead the way with other adds beingย Sencire Harrisย (G โ€“ Illinois),ย Amani Hansberryย (F โ€“ Illinois),ย Toby Okaniย (F โ€“ UIC),ย Eduardo Andreย (C โ€“ Fresno State),ย Joseph Yesufuย (G โ€“ Washington State),ย Jayden Stoneย (G โ€“ Detroit Mercy),ย Jonathan Powellย (2024 G),ย KJ Tennerย (2024 G) andย Dalton Jayย (2024 G).
