Neal Brown continues to add to his 2021 recruiting class with three-star tackle Tomas Rimac announcing his commitment earlier today.

Rimac (6-foot-6, 280 lbs.) is a three-star rated offensive tackle from Brunswick, Ohio. 247Sports rates Rimac as the 42nd best recruit out of Ohio and just outside the top-100 tackles at 101. Rivals has him as the No. 50 prospect from Ohio.

Rimac is the second offensive tackle to commit to WVU in the 2021 class, joining top in-state West Virginia prospect Wyatt Milum. He is also the fifth Ohio player to commit in the class.

Rimac had received a lot of attention from Ohio schools, including offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Kent State, Toledo and Youngstown State. He also had offers from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Western Michigan, Temple, Purdue, Louisville, Buffalo, Indiana and Pitt.

Rimac is now the fifth player in WVU’s 2021 class that also had an offer from Pitt, all five are from either Ohio or Pennsylvania. After 2020 signing day, Brown said he wanted to focus more on recruiting the Ohio/Western Pa area, which puts him in direct competition with nearby Pitt and head coach Pat Narduzzi.

Rimac is the 11th verbal commit to WVU’s 2021 class. He joins Milum, wide receivers Kaden Prather and Andrew Wilson-Lamp, defensive ends Brayden Dudley and Hammond Russell, tight ends Treylan Davis and Victor Wikstrom, running back Jaylen Anderson, quarterback Will Crowder and safety Saint McLeod.
