In addition to improving their metrics, WVU basketball is now back in the good graces of the man most synonymous with projecting the NCAA Tournament field.

As of Saturday morning, West Virginia is back on the ESPN Bracketology via Joe Lunardi. The Mountaineers were on his initial updates before falling off the map after a recent poor performance at home.

WVU basketball was able to undo some damage to its KenPom ranking after a 59-54 road win over Cincinnati Thursday.

The Mountaineers previously dropped by double digits in KenPom after a 63-53 home loss to Baylor. However, Thursday saw WVU go from No. 71 to No. 62 with a net rating of 12.82.
