WVU Fans React to Coal Rush Loss

WVU Football fans at Coal Rush game

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU fans were dressed in black for the annual Coal Rush game, but a strong second-half effort was not enough Saturday, as the Mountaineers fell 23-17 to TCU.

The loss drops the Mountaineers to 2-6 and 0-5 in Big 12 conference play. WVU fans took to social media to sound off on the team’s performance.

    Rich rod is starting to turn WV around yell lost yesterday but give WV just let may make game this year but next year big 12 better be ready

    RR will turn it around. Fox can throw the ball. We just need 21 other guys who can play!

    Y’all really expect WVU to be at the top this year? New coaching staff. Most players are new. C’mon guys. If it looks like this after year 2 or 3 then raise some cane

    No reasonable person expected WVU to win the Big 12 in year one. A rebuilding year doesn’t have to mean literally wore than 2001. This season has been far from acceptable despite the transition.
