Mallinger is the 15th recruit to commit in WVU’s 2021 class. He is the second wide receiver, joining Andrew Wilson-Lamp from Ohio and Kaden Prather from Maryland.

Also committed are running backs Jaylen Anderson and Justin Johnson Jr., offensive linemen Tomas Rimac and Wyatt Milum,  defensive ends Edward VesterinenNijel McGriffBrayden Dudley and Hammond Russell, tight ends Treylan Davis and Victor Wikstrom, quarterback Will Crowder and safety Saint McLeod.
